How we got started?
March 2020
A History of Food Collaboration and Expertise
C4I founder Olivia Chessé spent 15 years collaborating with chefs and luxury food brands throughout France, Asia, and the US when her business was forced to close due to COVID-19.
A Change of Course
Struck by the COVID-19 pandemic, Olivia created Chefs for Impact to inspire change in the food industry and cultivate a community of chefs and professionals committed to environmental and social impact.
Building Impact Through Community

Navigating shutdowns in the first year of operation, Chefs for Impact managed to interview over 50 chefs sharing inspiring stories during a difficult period for restaurants, and provide 20 classes and workshops to over 150 students, laying the foundation for a strong impact model.
Scaling For The Future
After 2 years of operating, Chefs for Impact has expanded into 7 schools and community centers, reaching over 600 students, and we opened our first community garden with more on the horizon. Reach out to find out how you can be a part of scaling Chefs for Impact!
