WHAT WE DO
We empower people and connect communities to make sustainable food decisions through our media, programs, and advocacy.
Through inspiring conversations with game changing professionals from the global culinary ecosystem, we share their vision while celebrating their commitment to protect vulnerable communities alongside the planet.
EARLY CHILDHOOD CURRICULUM
We provide nutrition education programs to students from PreK to 2nd Grade throughout NY state. Our goal is to engage children in their nutritional journey while encouraging sustainable eating behaviors, starting at a young age. The workshops include fun hands-on learning, taste-testing, and farm-to-school practices, that give students the opportunity to explore the connection between their classroom, their plate at home, and a farm.
We have created educational tools, in collaboration with local chefs and farmers, to raise awareness of seasonality and locality.
SUSTAINABLE FOOD & WINE EVENTS
We host series of sustainable events, including dinners and wine tastings, to rethink how to taste, drink, and enjoy sustainable ingredients made to preserve and encourage the dynamic biodiversity of all our ecosystems and to support local economy.
Chefs for Impact partners with other non-profits in New York and around the world to promote our shared goals of sustainable food education.
